
ROAD CLOSURES
In 2025, the stars of Australian cycling return to our roads in what is set to be another spectacular showcase of lutruwita/Tasmania.
This inevitably comes with a number of road closures and we appreciate the cooperation and patience of all residents and the local community across all three days of cycling.

Friday 21st Feb
Altus Traffic will be managing the criterium race in Devonport closing the following roads from 4:45pm - 8:15pm:
BLUFF RD between Gloucester Ave and North Fenton
CLEMENTS ST between Bluff rd and James st
JAMES STREET between Clements st and Victoria Parade
VICTORIA PARADE between Bluff rd and James St
We will allow local resident access if required, however we do request, where possible, you avoid using the road during these times. We will have traffic marshals stopping you from accessing the course, however will let you through to your residence between races where possible.
We also request you DO NOT park your car on the road between 4pm and 8:15pm when we will reopen the road.
SatURday 22nd Feb
Tasmania Police will facilitate a rolling road closure for this race, which reduces the impact of the event. Vehicles will not be able to travel on or cross the route while the rolling road closure passes through. Delays of 15–20 minutes are expected.
The race start line will be on High Street, Sheffield, between Tarelton and Victoria Street, from 6am - 3pm.
There will be an additional road closure on River rd, between Bells Parade and Swift Ave, Latrobe from 4pm - 8pm.
Sunday 23rd Feb
Tasmania Police will facilitate a rolling road closure for this race, which reduces the impact of the event. Vehicles will not be able to travel on or cross the route while the rolling road closure passes through. Delays of 15–20 minutes are expected.
The race start line will be on West Parade, Deloraine, between West Church and Emu Bay Rd, from 8:30am - 3pm
There will be an additional road closure on Highland Lakes Road from Golden Valley Rd to Pine Lake at 11am - 12pm and 3pm - 4pm.
